Luke 15: 8-10
"Or imagine a woman who has ten coins and loses one. Won't she light a lamp and scour the house, looking in every nook and cranny until she finds it? And when she finds it you can be sure she'll call her friends and neighbors: 'Celebrate with me! I found my lost coin!' Count on it—that's the kind of party God's angels throw every time one lost soul turns to God."

For every child, create a coin with that child's name on it. Then hide all the coins in the house in very difficult to find places. You can create clues to help the child find them. (EX: If the coin is hidden behind a fishtank, give then a picture of the fish as a clue.)

Then, one at a time, allow the children to go find their coins. They can ask for help from the other children, but they are ONLY allowed to touch the coin of the child whom they are helping. (This works best if you hide each coin AFTER that last one was found.)

When the child finds the coin, they must run back to the family and shout “I FOUND IT!” Then the whole family must cheer and applaud. You may then play celebration music or have cookies and ice cream to eat as a mini-party.

While the children are all enjoying their treats, explain Luke 15:8-10 and how that when someone decides to go to God for help, it is cause for even MORE celebration.
