Teen Ministry Corner

We really want to thank the disciples here at home who made this trip possible by helping us to fundraise and/or donating $$ directly to our trip.   Without your sacrifice this trip would not have been possible.  This trip allowed us to serve at the camp, take time to really deepen our personal walk with God, and also forge relationships between the Hampton Roads church and the UK churches.  THANKS!!!

This past Saturday the 11th & 12th grade disciples took a trip to Washington D.C. to visit the Holocaust Museum and to see the Arlington Cementary (though sadly we did not have enough time for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier). Afterwards Kevin Roland preached a great lesson that evening, overlooking the Potomac River and Arlington Cementary, about the evil that is in the world and the need for us to "die to ourselves" so that others might be set free.  Kevin quoted Edmund Burke who once said,

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." 

Our Teen Rally is fast approaching!  Again it will be from 3 pm -6pm this Saturday at Bayside High School's Gym.  

On Friday October 31st we will be having our annual Costume Party!!
